This began as a project to help my son learn how to love words. Even though he is still learning to write, his mind runs at full gallop. He dictates, I write (or at least try to keep up). Unless otherwise specified, all words really are his (the only liberty I've taken is the structuring). This blog began when the Small Boy was 4 years old. He won't remember this, but I so very much want to.
About the Very Small Boy
We learned not to underestimate the Small Boy after he outsmarted us In Utero (see the Knack of Flying Blog, Feb. 2006 - "Milk From God's Nose"). He likes to smile. He loves to dance. He wants to marry Rachel (from Glee) or Anna (his first friend) or Klaire or maybe Lauryn -- but for now he's keeping his options open. He just started preschool, but wants to be a Buckeye, and insists that he's "keeping his grades up" to that end. The love of his life is Great Uncle Harry, followed closely by Hinata M'OWee...a wee, crazed furrball who thinks she's part Small Boy-Guardian Angel...and part ninja.
He has a laugh that can melt icecream and a flair for the dramatic... and we think he's a pretty good kid.
